Rhode Island Student Assistance Services (RISAS) is a not-for-profit corporation established in 1986 to provide substance use prevention and mental health promotion services in schools and communities.

RISAS provides a range of evidence-based programs designed to prevent substance use and promote mental health in youth regardless of income level, cultural context, or immigration status. They provide a wide array of services for youth, schools, and communities, including a Youth Suicide Prevention Program.

Their Employee Assistance Division partners with employers to create a productive and healthy workplace. Working with students, parents, teachers, human service professionals, community leaders, health care providers, businesspeople, and clergy, their programs have touched thousands of lives.
